Does anyone know if there is a reproduction door light switch for the 914. It's a 1970, 4 pin door light switch. I can find the gaskets everywhere but no 4 pin switch. Thx!

NLA anywhere.

Try Garold Shaffer here.

I had the same request a while back.

You might try for the VW version of the switch new at VW Classic Parts, or repro from VW Bus Shop in Germany, or GoWesty,Bus Depot, Van Cafe (or whatever they're called now in CO), etc. here in the USA, & TheSamba.com.

IIRC the same 4-pin switch was used for that era Bugs, Buses, Squarebacks, 411/412, Ghias, etc. - somebody must be making them repro, or VW Classic on re-releases.

Looks like some people are using this....

I’m not 100% sure how to wire it up as a 2pole vs 4pole but I think this may work

This part will not work correcrly unless you rewire that circuit....particulary if it is a 73.

BTDT.

And no Tom....I could not find anyone doing an original.
