Is there a difference in the interior carpeting between the 1970 - 71 and the 1972 - 74?
Thanks all

i know the later cars, like 75-76 had that big foam wedge in the ps footwell for the egr box or whatever. My car had one, i took it out. My 70-72 carpet only reached to the front edge of the floor pan. I had to make a piece to cover the front firewall. IM thinking the later carpets were longer to cover the wedge part.

The passenger foam determines what year you need. The 70-71 models had a smaller foam footrest in them and the passenger floormat is about 3-4" longer and has a little curve in the top right hand side that follows the contour of the foam. The 72-76 models has a larger piece of foam in it, the passenger mat is a lot shorter with a straight top end that follows the contour. If you dont' have the foam, then the 70-71 should work okay.
