does anyone have one stripped?
i need to know the open length of the spring and an idea of the resistance of the spring. mine came minus the spring and collar. i have a new collar from 914 rubber.

0.072" diameter wire.
I can compress spring with both hands fairly easily, but it does take some force. Maybe someone can measure it. My point is that it's not super-stiff.
