Guys I need a muffler for a 1.7or 1.8 either stock or a bursch systemwill work just looking for something for a driver.

What engine is it going on ? What year is the car? The early cars with the snow plow valance take a different muffler The hole pattern is the same but the tubes in the 1.8 are larger. I would use a 1.8 on a 1.7 but not the other way around.

What engine is it going on ? What year is the car? The early cars with the snow plow valance take a different muffler The hole pattern is the same but the tubes in the 1.8 are larger. I would use a 1.8 on a 1.7 but not the other way around.

Its a 74 the valance is off of the car so not important. The engine is 2.0 but the SS are 1.7/1.8 style. Just trying to get this thing up and drivable for the fall I have 2.4 911 engine to go in it just ready to do the swap.

You will need the muffler hanger also since you have 1.7/1.8 exchangers. The 2.0L style one will not work.

I have the 1.7, 1.8 type hangers.
