The measurements from the outside of the rear tires to the lip of the fenders differs by 3/8th” when comparing the left and right sides. (At their closest thevdistance is less than 1” on the drivers side and ~1 3/8” on the passenger side.
I never noticed it before. Suspension ears are ok, camber looks ok.
Is this normal?

not unusual in these cars, hand built and lots of variation.

but... i would add, make sure to check the camber wirh an alignment, that could make a difference too

I’ve seen narrow body cars with 7” cookies peel rubber from the side walls on the passenger side but never on the driver side.
