This is a project that hasn't been touched in a couple years and needs to go to somebody who will finish it. It is a '72 914 with the engine from a 1999 Subaru Forester. The conversion kit is from Renegade Hybrids, and the engine harness and controller is a MegaSquirt-III EMS System - V3.57 with an Innovate LC-1 Digital Wideband Controller with Sensor from DIY Autotune.
Most of the hardware is there, it just needs stuff like the fluids plumbed, exhaust fabbed, shift linkage hooked up, and ECU wired up. The chassis is solid minus the rust in the pictures. There are many parts that go with it like a spare tire, the original shift linkage, and a spare transaxle housing. I take no credit for the etching on the rear window. I just have not got around to replacing that window yet. We have somewhere around 8k invested in this thing and I've had high hopes for this project for many years, but alas it needs to move on to somebody who will finish it before pigs fly.
