I have two power inverters that plug into the cigarette lighter and have a 110 plug and USB plugs The USB on the older unit says 5 V and 500 Miill. amp The newer unit says 5 V 3.1 amp Which one should I toss into the car for The drive to Octeenerfesr? For iPhone and iPad charging

I just use one of the lighter/usb chargers for iphone, not sure about a ipad.

I would bring the 3.1 Amp one as it has a larger output and therefor would charge either (or both at same time) faster. The 300 milli amp might be too small.
