Hi George,

Looks like your 916 has an a/c unit installed.
Could you post pics of the engine a/c compressor , and the front trunk install?
I'd like to see how the factory installed it. That is if it's factory installed?

I believe Peter Gregg had that AC installed to deal with the hot muggy Florida summers !

Thought this car was super original ??,would it lose points for seat centre material and stitched refurbed dash or the A/C ,don't know but asking ok,cheers.

I believe the seats with matching door panels, dash and in-windshield antenna are OE.

,didn't think that fabric was used on Porsches till the 80's,I do know it was an option on the 944 but different colour,whats the black panel between the taillights not sure about that being factory

lThe paisley rotted about six months from new so Tony Lapine made a new Porsche cloth interior and sent it over to Brumos to install

Just a spectacular car...The REAL DEAL!!!

Side note: The silver 1972 916 tribute car at Patrick Motor Sports is a great substitute.
It was for sale back in April at $225k with a 3.8L. I wonder if someone bought it?
I heard a person in Japan was eyeing it.
