Right, but even Mark notes in that listing:

"You will need the metal angle bracket that holds this in place, as it is not included."

For whatever reason, both my cars had this removed; wish I had one. I'm guessing the rubber wears off and previous owners removed the bracket to keep from scratching the trunk instead of buying a new rubber bit...

Well I didn't know that Mark was making this. However mine is NOS and if it isn't worth more than Ten Bucks I'll throw it away
GregAmy
Mark is only making the rubber part.
Mikey914
Hey's it's NOS. That has some posterity, and yes most cars are missing them, but the nub with the metal is still on the deck lid.....at least some of the time.

I'm looking at the metal to make it now, so not yet, but soon.

Anyone have a close up of the simple metal bracket that attaches this?

Yes, only on the left side of the car/engine lid. You're welcome!

Question: Did these come on all 914s or just the -6s? Thanks

My 71 1.7 had it....so I'd think all have it. Perhaps Mark needs to make the metal piece as well to sell with his rubber part?
