Never saw one of those, don't think it's a 914 part.

Where was it located on your car?

i can't remember if it was in the car or seperate with the engine. it's some kind of valve/regulator.

Looks like an automatic choke for a carb.

Did it have AC previously?

there was no body mods to show it had aircon. i think the car had a different motor / tranny fitted before it was removed and the remainder of the car sold. i bought the rolling shell with bits missing including the relay board mounts, lots of electrics missing too

Looks like a domestic vacuum assist choke pull off.

Kinda looks like some variant of a Bosch fuel injection manifold pressure sensor. Maybe? Not a 914 part.
