Triaddave
With every exhaust I build, I stamp a serial number on the left flange. Yesterday, I shipped TW 400 which is a milestone for me and Triad.
The exhausts measures 47" tip to tip.
That equals 1566.6 lineal feet if lined up tip to tip.
The Empire State Building is 1454 ft. to the tip.
Shipping box is 52x12x11 inches.
That is 3 1/3 semi-truck loads.
Shipping weight is roughly 28 lbs., so, x 400=11,200 lbs.
I bought Triad in 2002...16 years ago. that works out to be 2 per month, or 25 per yr..

I want to thank everybody that made this possible!

I am working on a light weight (made out of styrofoam and painted) for the up-coming electric cars, just because they look like something is missing.Click to view attachment

Just bought one for my 1971 1.7L . I could not be happier. Nice job, nice price and a nice guy! I like to see people succeed in what they enjoy doing. Keep it up.

Cheers!

Hi guys, looks like i’m the lucky guy with the #400 stamped on my new Triad exhaust. I can’t wait to see it and get it installed. Dave, you were a pleaser p to talk with during my purchase and congrats on your milestone..

Mine was a milestone from a few years ago now. Sadly now sold because of the six conversion - but I enjoyed it whilst I had it.

Cool! That's my car! And my shop.

I currently have 3 of these mufflers. 2 on 914-6 cars and 1 on the 911 you see in the pic.

Of course, the very first one, (on the track car) has no serial number.

mad.gif I don't have a serial # on my Triad hissyfit.gif

Mine didn't either. hissyfit.gif I hear the early ones are becoming collector's items like the pre-A 356s. poke.gif

Regardless I still think these are the best exhaust available for the 4-cyl cars. Great sound and I picked up midrange torque when I installed it on my car. Haven't tried one on the -6 yet.... yet.

Hi Dave,

While looking for the serial # you told me about I found these photo's taken before installation on my used Triad. pray.gif

Tom's car is insanely beautiful. He has to have every little thing done perfectly correct.

I'm running a stock '73 2.0 muffler and the cabin noise level is perfect. Running the Triad how much louder is it over stock? Is there a .db level available. I've been thinking/wanting a Triad for a few years and curious to know. Thanks for the info

Also, is there one in the Fort Worth area I might listen to? The you tube videos just don't tell the real sound imho.

That exhaust is a work of art to look at and I'm sure the cardboard and foil version for electric cars will be too!

Always found these systems an interesting design and certainly not conventional, however the feedback is always great ,keep up the good work beerchug.gif .
