Hi again. The "P" of Porsche is not gapped the same as other letters and it is giving me OCD. My question is... How do I take the grill off to adjust the position of the letter? I dont want to go at it with a screwdriver or blunt instrument without knowing the method. Thanks in advance T

Remove the speed nuts on the back very carefully. The plastic posts on the letters snap of easily.

You will need to remove the rain tray, if it's installed.

You'll be best served to remove the entire hood and work on it on a piece of carpet in your work area or in the house somewhere. 2 bolts and the entire hood comes off. It can be a one man job to remove it. 2 people is easier.

Working on the hood or even engine with the hood in place is difficult. I slotted the hood hing holes so I don't have to remove the bolts all the way to remove the hood.

Depending on the type of speed nut used and the fact that you're only adjusting one letter.....you might be able to do this small job with the lid still on the car. I've had to carefully use a dremel cut off wheel to get some speed nuts/clips off.
