The beauty of this motor mount (unlike a cradle) there are no obstructions in the way of exhaust system, half shafts, cable shifter, etc. When we pull the transaxle, we don't need to support the rear of the engine as the motor mount and cross bar are strong enough to support the engine when the transaxle is removed. When the transaxle is installed, there is a separate mount that supports the rear of the transaxle. Transaxle mount is sole as a separate piece.

To allow for the 1/2" motor plate a 1/2" aluminum spacer is installed between the crankshaft and flywheel.

The modified motor plate provides enormous amount of strength to resist the torque of the engine. This 2.7 L engine with 30 psi boost puts out over 550 WHP and over 500 ft-lbs torque. The cross bar mounts to the tub with two simple weld-in U shaped brackets. To drop the engine, remove two bolts and it's out. $1,250.00Click to view attachment

so does it used the rubber mounts at the outboard /4 mount location?

If you don't like a lot of vibration it will need rubber mounts at the front and a redesign on the rear mount.
