The dash went in without too much trouble, had a couple of times practice as I had put the frame in before getting the wiring sorted Then had forgotten to put the glove box...I guess practice makes perfect It’s coming together nicelyClick to view attachmentClick to view attachment
The dash looks great, but I'm really loving the front bumper. FG?
Car looks incredible. Really interesting bumper. Did you have that made? What's the story on it?

The bumpers front and back are all metal, as are the rockers and of course the flares (thanks to Pete at Restoration Design... )
I never did like the rubber bumper tops and the 916 style FG bumpers we were looking at installing were really not up to the quality we were aiming for. A little more work, but I really think that they turned out great...and one of a kind.
Here is the final product. Now the long wait for spring when I will finally be able to take it out for a drive... And some lapping at our favorite track Le Circuit Mont Tremblant
Your car looks terrific. The upholstery is first class. The bolsters on the seats were done right and the stitching looks perfect. Congrats!
What have you done for the engine and trans?

The engine is a 3.2 from an ‘89 carrera mated to the 901 transmission that I rebuilt and regeared (AFOX flipped H) under the excellent guidance of the not so evil Dr Evil
