Valves and Springs are out of the head. Is there a way other than using a spring tension measuring tool to determine if they're stock or heavy duty. Maybe measuring the thickness, height, and number of coils is enough to determine what I have. If so, anyone have the specifications of stock 2.0 liter four cylinder springs. I guess I could bring them to a good shop and have them tested. Thanks for any advice and help.

If you're unclear about their condition (how long were they in the head...some / half compressed for years??), I say why not spend $25 for new ones i.e. European Motorworks or others ??

Do they have paint marks on them?
Springs can get weak over time, it's best to at least test them.
