What is the remedy for seepage at both sides of the intermediate plate ?
I'm not a fan of sealants....especially in an area of critical adjustment.

Rory I have had issues with nuts loosening on the back so I use a Locking Nut, these are from Grainger. I have had problems with nylocks in the past.

I also throw some Locktite 510 on the rear cover to intermediate plate (where thickness is not an issue)
