Is it possible to check in / pick up t-shirts and banquet tickets saturday morning?
I may need to head home after Newcombs, and would prefer to take a more scenic route
instead of dropping back towards LA and possibly getting caught in the usual friday afternoon exodus

Hwy39 closed (permanently) from Hwy2 to Crystal Lake.
I assume you mean Hwy2 to Wrightwood, and Hwy138 to I15.
Google is still showing Hwy2 closed between 39 and Wrightwood, but other sites show it open

Yes...I'm in. I DO NOT want to take the 210 back on Friday from Pasadena. In fact we could take Sheep's Creek from Wrightwood and not get on the 15 almost to Rancho Cucamonga almost to Ceasar's house. From there the West Bound on the 210 is in much better shape.

Was with Hoyland out by the track and then my Porsche ADD kicked in inside with one of the employee's there about the factory GT 914. I realized then that I needed to get back home so I kicked out quick.

I'm staying in Santa Monica Sunday night, then heading back. Realllllly looking forward to the drive back into Phoenix Monday afternoon. So much for the mild May, summer is here baby!
