Full Version: Adjusting Passenger window

My passenger window has sloppy play when cranking back up. I need to level it while cranking it up.Is there a thread already on how to adjust this window problem ?

1973 1.7 late 73.

Slide the rear regulator bushing into the rear door lifter bracket. was the problem all better now with the bushing in place.

Regulator has some slop built into it. Got to remember that these cars were built on the cheap. Look at the crank handle and see if the teeth are worn out and that the screw is the correct one. Last look at the regulator itself.

Check the fasteners for the rear verticle guide. There should be vert pieces in the front and rear that keep the windows from rattling in the guides.
