This broken fairing came with the V8 teener and since it is raining cats n dogs I decided to repair it.

Rough side after sanding to prep for new glass:

I attached this piece of .028 2024 aluminum backing to keep the 2 pieces properly aligned. The fiberglass and alum piece were roughed up with 30 grit sandpaper prior attaching with the fiberglass resin. It was held in place with pony clamps and compressed as much as possible.

My Hillbilly Vacuum Bag. a 1.5" thick piece of Armoflex rubber sheet to compress against uneven surface, 2 clamps, wax paper.

And a bit of resin/micro ballon mixture to sand to paint ready.
