While in Paris for the Brutus auction, we took an excursion to Lemans to see a 962 that the Brutus owner was purchasing, and lo and behold sitting next to it looking lonely was this car, unattended, uncovered and for anyone to plop down in if they wanted.
Amazing that such a valuable famous car was just sitting there like that.

It really is amazing the level of cars that show up at the European shows.
Especially the vintage race cars.
I just visited the London Classic Car show while there for business, and while it was not massive, it had a high level of really unique cars, more than a few Ford GT40's, lambos, Ferraris, and other vintage race cars that you would just walk over and open the door.
Great that people share these gems.

Sweet 962...but I'd put my ducketts into an air-engine model. Water 962's are on the average twice the maintenance cost and twice the cost on engine parts. Opinion based on conversations with tuner friends that deal with both styles.

The one at our shop was a single turbo air cooled engine. Made over 780hp on Peter Dawe’s dyno.
