Hi there

I am after a complete carby 1.7 engine. I am replacing an EV conversion so need all tinware, ancilliaries etc.

Only catch is that I am located in New Zealand so would need help shipping! Understand if this is in the "too hard" category. Also if you have a targa top!!!!

Cheers
'Greg

Cars come home today!
Chi-town
Cars are home!

The 73 is a little special as it's one of the "First 1000" in 73' with a production date of 8/72 and VIN ends in 0923. Supposedly these are German Spec cars shipped to CA due to high demand.

Appears to be numbers matching? EA Code 1.7 / HA trans
Needs rust repair in the floors/trunk/ poked hell hole and didn't go through but seal ledge is gone.
Original gauges are gone but I have silver dots for it.
EFI is gone but harness is there / Has Spanish Webers on it currently/ engine turns by hand

I am going to give it till Saturday before I strip it, if you want it whole let me know ASAP!

The 70' is coming apart as the floors and longs are toast.

LH Door is clean, RH door has rust at the weatherstrip channel.
Top is good / Targa latches are good
Hood is clean / Trunk has weird reinforcement in it but is clean
Green Door glass / Windshield cracked / rear window is clean w/o defroster
Tail shift HA trans / W Code 1.7 turns by hand
Steel wheels
No Sway Bars

I'll be posting pics and contacting everyone who posted shortly.

Does the '73 have the 914 emblem on it? They were a gunmetal grey metal.

Earlier were gold and later were black plastic.

If nice with both posts good i'll take it.

Chi-town
@Olympic 914 - sorry it had a chrome badge

@andreic - yes still have them with buckles and bolts

@retroracer do you need a functional unit or a core for the needle assembly?
Reason I ask is I have a water logged tach but the needle is still good.
Retroracer
As long as the bezel, glass, casing and needle are intact - then I'm good. Functionally I'll replace the innards anyway.

Could you post a quick pic showing condition?
