What do I need to change in order to install a 1973 head light switch in place of a 1975 head light switch? The 1975 switch has the extra post marked 56K which looks like it connects to the head light motors.Click to view attachment

Why not use the correct switch? I have dozens of them. Two for $20 shipped and you will have a spare. OBO

Correct, terminal 56K signals the headlight motors to extend. Terminal 30B to retract.
