So the majority of the master cylinders we've been selling are the easy option, so we have put the non-easy on sale. Just like stock, 19mm master cylinders. It's either this or disassemble, re-machine (for the easy kit), reassemble, and test.

Do these come with the washers for underneath the grommets?

Yes the washers are included.

Compared to Ate they are functionally the same and about half the price. The Ate 17mm costs more than the 19mm.

The stock 914 master was17mm. The 914-6 was 19mm. Most agree that the change from 17mm to 19mm is barely noticeable. You will have slightly reduced pedal travel and a firmer feel if you are replacing a 17mm master.

ATE have been NLA for sometime. Very hard to find.

So these have a brake pressure sensor to run the brake lights rather than the mechanical switch? Is there enough material at the rubber connections to tap a useable thread for an adapter?

You are welcome to try to tap the upper ports, but there is the possibility of getting material into unit. We do ours before assembly, and if we were to do this (tap the no tapped versions we made) we would not do it assembled.

It would be easier to just buy the "easy" kit which we have done this already and include the machined nipples and hydraulic hose to splice into the existing lines.
