Those are my favorite wheels for a boxter/cayman. I'd love to find an 18" set for my CS.

I've seen several Cayman S for under 20k lately. Certainly tempting ...

@SirAndy

Do it! I love mine. About to come out of winter storage when I leave S. Cali and head home. First stop after my wife pics me up!

You made the right call dude. That ZeeGee was going to be a big project and I've always wanted a Boxster. Now I'm the one whose green... with envy! smoke.gif

Sold my 75 1.8 FI (my 1st 914) and a real sad for me and my kids selling it. Used half of the sale for down payment of a townhome and half for a 99 986 Ocean Blue metallic. LN Eng IMS, newly rebuilt tiptronic and many new parts replaced by the previous owner who was a co-owner of a Porsche shop in Camarillo. About $4k in parts with free labor from his shop. Then I replaced four corner new bilstein struts, front drop links, water pump, 2 belt/idler pulleys.

Well I still have a 74 914 project. You really can’t avoid without a 914. hehehe

nice buy! I like your thinking.

my $3000 resurrection project: It's really more fun than my two 996s were - sounds awesome with headers and sport exhaust, and even better with the top down smile.gif

And I cannot justify the expense plus shipping to NH. Think I can con the airline into 4 carry ons?

All my car money is going toward my Westy H6 swap.
