Full Version: Just a little Build update

Last month up in Wisconsin when it was 30 below, I ask my buddy from Florida to come up for a few weeks to help with the 914. I hope I can put this in order.
1st. We installed coilovers and Koni's on the rear. ( Ground Control).

2nd. New brake fluid and bleed, after MC and caliper rebuilds.

3rd. Shift linkage kit and rod bearing. (Tangerine Racing).

4th. Kill switch and wiring.

5th.911 oil/temp gauge with wiring through the tunnel.

6th. Build GT style engine lid, I'm on the left, buddy Carl on the right.

7th. Fabricate bracket and install 356 Porsche fuel tank.

8th. Fabricate GT flares onto my fiber glass rockers. Wanted to buy Ben's but my flared fender are very rounded.

9th. Cams came from John Dougherty Racing, reground S cams to DC-30 Mod Solex.

Looks great. Btw my rocker flares are 16ga so you can round whatever you like. Also I have extremely attractive pricing on these now that I am building 10 sets at a time.

Brave lad he must be. It was indeed cold this past winter.

Great looking build. The tangerine shift mod is the best thing you can do for your driving enjoyment. And you will love the DC30 cams

Thanks gereed75, the engine is a 2.2 E with S pistons and 40 PMOs, can't wait to get cams installed and a running engine. This car has been apart going on 30 years.Click to view attachment
