What exactly is your question? There are tons of threads about the 916s on here, the one in your picture is particularly well documented.

They made 11 of them (including the prototype) ...

including this one which has a 914-6 serial number, 11 were made. They were originally 2.4 911s mechanically injected engines but several went back to the factory to be fitted with 2.7 engines. Only one came through the porsche network to the US and was featured on the cover of the feb 72 road and track magazine with the caption "one of a kind for America"

Corina Piech was the one known to have driven Brutus.

Great looking car - as a point of reference does anyone happen to know exactly what size wheels and tyres are on that car?? I suspect there might just be somebody lurking with that knowledge..... evilgrin.gif evilgrin.gif evilgrin.gif

I thought from the factory they came with 185-70-15’s and spacers to fill out the flairs?
dr914@autoatlanta.com
Brutus was a special car, sort of a street racer with the large 90 liter gt tank and the 2.9 rsr engine. The other "production" 916s were tamer with seven inch wheels all around, 185/70x15 tires and 2.4 S engines. Many were modified later by owners and the factory
