If the car has been stored that long , no mater how it was stored you will have mice and/or rat nests under the cooling tin.
STOP.
PULL the engine and then pull all the cooling tin and clean the mess.
Make sure each cylinder is totaly clear of all debris and dirt.
Reassemble.

Failure to follow the above procedure will cost you at least a dropped valve and attendent head job or worse.
I won't even run a car that has been stored for more than a few minutes with out pulling and cleaning the engine.

Anyone else?
