Hello Amigos,
Looking for the right tire combo for my wheels and wanted to see what everyone else is running. I have Staggered 16” Boxster wheels 6x16 Et50. & 7x16 et40. Thinking of going 195/50R16 on the fronts and 205/50R16 on the rear on non flared car.
Anyone else running the same setup?

205 should be no problem, Joe O did 225s..

I have stock Box sizes and rolled the rear fenders a bit.

I have 205 by 45’s on 911 Fuchs 7” by 16”wheels, had to role the inside lips of the rear fenders to make them fit.

yes but the wheels he referenced can be adjusted with spacer thickness, unlike the 911 fuchs

Wow thats a big difference for a small amount of change is size, I'm presuming both tires set up are riding on 15" wheels?
Now that opens up a can of questions? First for those of you running staggered Boxster 6's & 7's. Will I need spacers to make it work. 2nd. how do the 195/55 look inside the fender well? Can I get a sideview of 195's? Did you drop the suspension some to compensate for tire to fender gap? Lastly are you sacrificing top end speed and gaining faster off the line speed running a smaller diameter tire?

Thanks, Al

15x5.5 Mahles. My car is lowered, really close to the fenders. Switching to 195/55 fixed the issue. Not to mention I wanted to go with a tire more suited for the track. aktion035.gif
