Just back from Dallas Custom Steering Wheel has the thicker wrap, spokes are original and in excellent condition. With shipping to and from Dallas cost for the recover with extra padding was $525, a core 805.10 wheel is getting hard to find in this condition with original paint spokes. Cross stitching on main grip with baseball stitch on the spokes. Wheel is date stamped 5/71 and has the flat hub and rear countersunk holes for the early 911 and 914-6 cancel ring. Price is $895 shipped in the USA.

Great looking wheel. Won't last long.

As a newbie; I was under the impression that all original wheels were 360mm. Is it actually that they're all 380mm or was/is there more than one size?

Thanks- Richard

PO of my ‘73 put on a momo steering wheel which is too small. I have to work to see some of the gauges...been thinking of sending the original to Dallas for a leather wrap. I thought it was more like $325. Am I wrong?

$399 for original thickness plus shipping each way, they charge $25 to ship each way.To add the extra padding is $75, additional $$$ for any repair work. That being said, they are the best source for re-cover!
