M8 I believe there are 9 of them on a car so a pack of 10 for a buck and a half does the trick.

They are M8. I double checked the PET and by screwing an M8 nut on one of the nylon dash top studs this morning.

Not all of the dash nuts are nylon. I think it is 4 nylon and 5 metal.

M8 and it some mix of nylon & I though they were alum nuts but I could be mistaken. Ive got a stash of them from all the dash tops I swapped.

All the cars I've gotten into had plastic nuts originally. On probably half they binded making it a bitch to unscrew/screw so were replaced with common metal nuts that I could spin with just my fingers. Might be the Vegas heat swelling the nylon or something.

I had some that were mixed plastic and steel. I’m pretty sure that was stock on some. I would be surprised if someone had changed them.

I wouldn't be surprised if the factory mixed and matched nuts as I doubt it makes a bit of difference as long as you are careful not to over tighten a steel nut on a nylon stud, but the PET lists a quantity of 9 for the M8 plastic nut.

The dash I just removed had mixed nylon and steel.

My understanding is they were all nylon. However, I have used moth nylon and steel.
