I’m doing sone “stuff” on my 76!! I removed the original oil pressure switch and need to buy a new one . Which manufacture should I go with ?

Manufacturer is not important. What is important is matching sender pressure.

I'm guessing you mean the idiot light switch?
I've never cared other than it was a VW part number.
