I now have on hand and finished 3 pairs of early latches ( at the bottom of the image) and 2 pairs of late rear targa latches (at top bottom of the image).
Early latches have the shorter bumps and wider spread. Look closely at the pictures.
The change happened in 73 but I do not know when.
Check you latches and compare if in doubt.
the rubber blocks that locate in the humps on the latches are different in width and height. The wrong latches will cause fit problems of the top shifting sideways or siting high.
These latches have new hooks that are laser cut of thicker material. Stop ins are welded to the hook unlike the original that were pressed in and could Click to view attachmentwork loose. Some springs are original and some are ones I make from coil spring stock.
Housings are blasted, stripped of the plastic and powder coated.
New style retainers are used. I found these to hold better than the external snap rings.
$80 per pair shipped in the U.S. by USPS Priority Mail.
I have more sets that can be assembled.
