How about a Mid-September October Fest in Idyllwild. Leave from my place in the Foothills of Mt. San Jacinto (Hemet) and take Hwy 74 to Idyllwild. Light brunch at Cafe Aroma with Jazz and a drive to Lilly Rock. Back down the hill to my place for an Authentic German October Fest meal and BEER! Swimming is optional. What do you guys think?

My home is 20 minutes off Interstate 10 on the way to Palm Springs. 45 minutes from Corona via the 91 Freeway. Idyllwild is 30 minutes from my home via some very, very nice twisties on Highway 74. Highway 74 is sometimes referred to the Palms to Pines Highway. Mt. San Jacinto's elevation is 10804 ft.

Starting and finishing point at my home in the Foothills of Mt. San Jacinto.
