Need the switch under the handbrake that turns the dash light on/off. Is this available from a vendor? The part number shows me the door switch when looking online.

it's the same switch as the door jam light switch

Check with @Chi-town , or @GaroldShaffer , they probably have some laying around

I've got the same issue. I need a brake warning lamp switch for one 914 and a door/interior light switch for another 914. Looking at the existing ones for other car, they are very similar but the "plunger" sticks up or out a little more on the brake lamp warning switch (at the handbrake lever). AA shows them as the same switch but SMC shows them as looking very similar but slightly different with different part numbers.

It's not the same as the door jamb only because of the connection.

Door jamb has two 2mm spades
Brake light switch has one 6mm spade.
