Well that was fun 
I talked to Shawn this morning. I thought the parts might be in CA, based on his area code and the location listed under his avatar. Turns out they are in Utah.
The transmission, which is what I called about, is an untested unit that he never ran.
If anyone has a side shift in the San Francisco/Sacramento area, I'm still looking. Known good working condition is a plus, but would consider a core for parts.
