Hi Everyone,

My driver's side seat belt is not really retracting any more and the passenger side is no prise either. Any ideas for options:

I'm thinking:

1) Buy new
2) Repair mine - Kids in college
3) Buy used - Kids in college

Thanks for any help

Cleaning the webbing isn't going to fix a weak retractor spring

Your right, but IME most of the time the problem is only the webbing is swollen with dirt after 40 yrs & has never been cleaned.

I took mine apart and tighten the spring. A bit challenging but if I can do it you can too
