There's two places in Oakland that work on 914s that i would trust:

Eason Auto Works
3423 Harlan St, Oakland, CA 94608
Small shop, Bill knows his way around 914s and other old Porsches


Bauer Porsche
1009 7th St, Oakland, CA 94607
Bigger shop, but they work on lots of old Porsches, including 914s
