Has any used flexible SS braided fuel lines to replace original??

You have to be careful which type of line you use. Most standard braided lines use a rubber line inside that can weep fuel and cause a fuel fume issue inside a car.

Technically you should run a PTFE liner to prevent this.

Try the fuel line kit Tangerine racing. Here's a good install video.
Good luck.
