Hi guys, hope everyone had a good weekend.

I have a couple pair of seats that I've replaced with better ones and wondering you you all have ideas / approach that beats putting them on Craiglist as cores?

I did ping Vince to see if he has need of these.

I've made garage chairs out of them....we wear out chairs at the office, and I keep the bottom.

every time I see a chair at the office getting tossed, I take it, remove the bottom. chairs wear out...the mechanical stuff below the chair lasts forever...mostly....

Try to save them or give them away. Please don't trash them. beerchug.gif

I need a set of good cores!

Both of mine have cracked the shell on the inside ....

good man for saying that, I agree, I regret not having the space to store every bit of any 914 part or car I ever bought and not dismantling them

agree.gif I learned through refurbishing my seats that even severely damaged and missing foam is surprisingly easy to repair.

There are lots of different parts in the seats that come in handy when re-upholstered and like Andy said, it common for the entry side to crack. I’m keeping a couple cores for future needs.

Thanks guys, throwing them away wasn’t ever an option but appreciate the encouragement to make sure they go to goodbuse.

I think these are going to Vince. Shipping to NorCal would be $$$ unfortunately BUT if someone is making a run happy to get something to turn SirAndy.

This might be easier for you, Andy? @SirAndy
