I took my 9 year old to see Herbie this afternoon.
Fun for the whole family:D
Actually more realistic than "Days of Thunder"
A lot of junk yard shots, but no 914s in the background.
I did spot a 924 sitting on the ground without wheels.
In the big race finale, Herbie gets a hole in a valve cover. The mechanic runs over to a NEW BEETLE, pops the hood and pulls a v/c off to put on Herbie.
And he wins the race:trophy:

You weren't paying very close attention. My 7 year old pointed out the tail end of a 914 in one of the newspaper flashes they had on the screen showing Herbies past... cute movie but not as good as the old ones.

Yeah me three....the popcorn sucked....got the squirts......

Lindsay has some bodaicious hooters....the kids actually clapped, scary part was.....I actually guessed the year of the bug.....kids and the wif said no way.....changed their tunes when they found out I was right.
