In the middle of a 6-conversion, bought a metal "2.7" emblem to replace the "2.0" emblem but the font is way bigger than the original metal "914" emblem so it will not look right. Now I am on the hunt for a "914-6" sticker like they used on the GTs.

My car has the "914" and the "2.0" emblems but I am upgrading it to a six-cylinder with a 2.7 liter engine. I wanted it to say "914 2.7" but the 2.7 I sourced is in a larger font than the 914 so it will look strange when I mount them next to each other. Now I am looking for a 914-6 sticker instead, like they used on the 914-6 GT cars. Does that make sense?

If you want a metal version, @mueller makes them for you upon request. Had him make me a "2.2"

Do what you want but most people just go with the part you are showing and just put a small 2.7 Eng. decal in the rear window

Get one of the Vinyl cutting guys to make what you want custom. I have never seen what you show but custom you can get anything.

Did not right away recognize that sticker as "used on the GT's".

Did a quick review on the pbase 914-6 GT site and looked at many period photos. Did not see that marking on any cars.

Do what you wish - your car. But I don't think it was a factory GT thing.

The real GT cars usually ran the long "914-6-VW-Porsche" emblem.

Just saying, I understand what you want.
