My car didn't have one and PET diagram doesn't show placement.

Left side. Have no idea why this picture is upside down. I tried editing it by flipping it and reload with same results!

My lid hits the top of the roll bar. How do I stop that? confused24.gif

Put your hand between the lid & roll bar when you pop it open.

Also there is a metal bracket that supports that rubber stopper. I will post a picture in a few min.

Did all years have these - I have it in my head that they stopped with 73 but my head is often incorrect...

My '75 doesn't have them, nor does my boss's (but with how disassembled they both were/are that's not 100% reliable info.)
