I need to pull some door hinge pins to replace the spring washers in the hinges. I know AASE Sales has the tool, but the price is too steep for a one time use. Anyone ever make just the foot attachment that could be screwed on to any slide hammer borrowed from your FLAPS? Seems like it wouldn't be too hard to make for a handy guy with a mill.

Wear gloves if you don't want a Supreme Blood Blister. In fact I pretty sure I came up with some words I'd never heard before. We used similar tools to remove faucet handles years ago when everything was still brass. No real need nowadays.

JimmyT makes some of the best if not the best tools for Porsche cars. I have his hinge pin puller and ball joint socket which is nearly indestructible. He can be found on the Early 911S Registry. He makes some other very nice tools and equipment.

It is used to remove 911 door hinge pins:

It will not work with the Porsche slide hammer, 000.721.290.00, which currently lists for $264.46.
Instead, it is designed to be used with any slide hammer with M10x1.5 threads. In the US, this would be the $25 Harbor Freight Slide Hammer, #63609. It also works with the previous iteration of Harbor Freight slide hammer, #62959 which was discontinued in August, 2018.

The assembly now includes a threaded extension with a protective nylon sleeve and sacrificial flat washers.
