I'm looking for a set of early (really) front calipers for my 75. The car has EARLY struts, spindles, and rotors and LATE calipers with spacers to make it work (it wasn't me). I need an easy and safe fix to make the round trip to Okteenerfest next month.

Another option would be all the parts to convert to a late system minus the calipers.

Please let me know what you've got.

Thanks,

Ben

I happen to have a front pair of early calipers available - restored by PMB, never installed ...

Can I use the hardware from late calipers with these?

You might shoot an email to Eric Shea at PMB to be sure, but I believe you can use the mounting bolts, the spreaders and retaining pins, but early brake pads are thinner, so you may need to order new pads if you currently have late pads.

If your existing calipers need replaced, it might be a good time to replace the rubber hoses too idea.gif
