I've seen very light hits shift the entire body. Was the car hit somewhere?

right rear suspension console breaks loose

hit a curb and blow out two tires on the same side

front torsion bar gets weak and begins to sag

There's no frame... so shifted relative to what - the position of the wheels in the wells?

Still trying to figure out what 'whole body shifted to one side' means. Do you mean to say 'the car is out of level when viewed from the rear of the car'? As mentioned, pictures.

That is not bad at all, front torsion bars out of adjustment, shims stacked too much on one rear side, spring is sagging. Easily corrected:

put a jack carefully under the center of the front cross member and just take the weight off of the front. If the rear levels out, the front torsion bars are out of adjustment, if not one spring has sagged or someone stacked too many shims under one of the rear control arms trying to get the neg camber out

None of my 914s have been perfect side to side. It becomes really clear when you lower the car use spacers and remove tires a lot.
dr914@autoatlanta.com
to me, my 914s are perfect from any side!! (view) (LOL)

I see you're in WA. I think you might have a corner balance and 4 wheel alignment in your future. Redmond European should be able to help you.

Most are tighter tire to fender on the right rear INMHO

agree.gif Rears slightly different is common. I'd have to measure, but I know mine's out a bit and has never been hit.
It once was sitting crooked front corner to opposite rear corner, the front torsion adjustment was out. Then it did it again when a rear spring was cocked in it's pearch.
Fixed that by drilling holes in the top and bottom perches and using HD zip ties, the lower perch now rides up the shock (bilstein, 160 pound springs) when I jack it up.
