I haven't seen this one before. Anyone here the owner? Or know the owner?

Yuck. If the get 1/2 the $43k asking price, I’d be surprised.

I hope he gets the number... Not many highly custom cars trade hands often.

That being said... I don't know who would fit in a caged 914 chopped 5"...

I've always thought the 914 was too dang tall... thought no one, ever.

(Ok, a few strange people thought that, but not very many)

I call my 914-6 REDRUM, this would be REROOF
Spoke
I can only see one picture. Doesn't look that bad but not sure how much headroom there would be with the roof chopped 5 inches. That's a lot of coin for a modified 914 w/o a Porsche engine.
rhodyguy
Ad says the car can handle a 6' driver with the current seats. My guess is a 6'ter without a helmet.
1970-1914
Doesn’t look like it has actual seats in it?

The trans is worth almost half the asking price

But then what do you do with the rest of the car.

Different price range but this car totally works for me.

agree.gif Same headroom concerns as others. Whenever I see overspray in a fender well and a 1" gap between the poorly fitted hood and headlamps I wonder how the rest of the car was constructed. blink.gif

I agree, lots of great Fab work. Too bad they chopped the top as the rest of the car is pretty nice
