I'm planning a new pedal unit with dual master cylinders and balance bar and also converting the clutch to hydraulic, so why not go the whole hog amd get rid of all the cables.

I've been running them in my sandrails for about 15 years. I like them for that but at times you have to pay attention to them. Like blead off pressure or add fluid.

I could see it on a sandrail (crap getting in the cable)....but what would be the advantages to justify the added expense over a cable on a 914? confused24.gif

instead of hydraulic, why not electric?
maybe you can use the "fly by wire" throttle set up from a Boxster or 996
