As I continue disassembly I keep finding exceptionally non-stock bits, sometimes OK but mostly ghetto. Check out this exhaust, all welded together--including the rear support bracket.

Would have figured that with expansion and contraction the welds would have cracked. But never underestimate the ingenuity of a 914 owner. 2 glass packs welded to the rear mount, simple neat and clean
