Engine compartment? If so my guess is it has something to do with smog equipment since I've not seen one on either of the '74 cars I have.

I believe so, but not sure. The car came to me without an engine.

Easy one. Porsche 924 side marker light harness. Also used on VW Rabbit of the time.
