Anyone ever see the Citron Factory outside of Paris, they have the little cars stacked three high, like a wall. Someone could do that with 914's.

Looks like a hoarder had to clear out space. Put shinny paint on the worst ones. God only knows what’s under the paint. Looks pretty but if they didn’t even mask off buyer beware.
I know some poor prospect will buy with the idea of driving getting a deal only to find out that it was much more work.
Hopefully these don’t just wind up being scrap.

Copart doesn't do just insurance cars, they do normal auctions also for "rare" or connector cars/trucks

Vin numbers need to be mined and added to database if not already there.

VINs are listed with each car if someone has the time to go through them all.

Most of the pics have one of the vin. Not sure where they got the retail values?

I wouldn't trust these VIN numbers, 4742905802 has a 75 front bumper It's a shame, looks like a cinnamon interior.

That was always a macabre game to play at the auction, "is that blood?" Some cars were hard to look at. I remember a Jeep that look like it went under the back of a tractor trailer, it ground it flat to the rollbar, hood, windshield, seats. There was a 12 pack of beer in the back, I told one of the auction guys they should salvage the beer, he said, "Nope, that's the Devil's beer!"

Biohazard can also be flooding. During flooding sewage and the floodwater get mixed.

Another error in the listings -- the blue 1975 car is listed with a VIN of 4702907307. In addition to the VIN door sticker, the fixed passenger seat and bumpers show it to be a 70 not a 75.

And the green "74" with a 1971 VIN card.

Save them yes I get it. The problem is that they have crated more work by adding the shinny paint. Yes, they look better, but it has to come off to address any underlying issues. I certainly am not willing to pay a premium to do more work. This is what I hate most, someone who doesn't have the abilities gets to pay more to bite off more than they can chew. I'm hoping that is not the case here, but odds are it will happen here at least once
